Felicia Tan, a mother of a three year old boy was one of the past participants of Grief Recovery Method (GRM). She will be sharing her journey of a mother’s faith journey with ‘Women Arise’ Day Conference on 19 – 20 July 2018 at Trinity Christian Centre @ 247 Paya Lebar Road. Being a graphic designer, Felicia had been trying every means to conceive and finally conceived in 2011. But only to be face with a tragedy when her baby, Dominic could not survive a premature birth. His under-developed lungs failed and he passed away. This was a painful struggle for anyone. Six months later, she conceived again. This time round the gynea showed her 2 heartbeats – Elvis & Louis! Unfortunately, her happiness was short-lived. Tragedy soon struck again and she found herself stricken with grief once more.

Through GRM, Felicia and her group mates walked through their grief as unique as each with practical steps towards letting go and giving it a voice to it. With the support from the group, friends and her husband, Felicia have learned how to march on. Finally, it took her 2 years before she conceived naturally for the third time.

It was a high-risk pregnancy, however Felicia was assured that God would walk with her through it. In June 2015, her rainbow baby, Titus was born.

Felicia had also turned into writing to deal with her grief. She had wrote and shared her true life story into 3 books – To Baby with Love, Lost and Found and A Gift from Heaven.
